Ceramic Disc Sub

The ceramic sub-disc is a simple and economical tool for flow control applications. This sub-disc utilizes a proven, concave-shaped ceramic rupture disc that provides excellent resistance to pressure below the sub-disc, as well as to aggressive chemicals and downhole temperature variations.

The disc subdivider is installed at the bottom of the tubing or below a production packer. After the packer is set, the disc is burst to allow production.

Technical characteristics:

  • Excellent pressure resistance under the sub-disc
  • The single disc option can be opened with pressure or with a weight bar
  • Ideal for wells with high solids content where the completion must be isolated.

Typical applications:

  • Areas with the presence of aggressive chemicals
  • Wells with temperature variations at the bottom.
  • High pressure and temperature wells
  • Highly deviated wells
