Stradasnap Packer

The Stradasnap packer is used to selectively treat short intervals of casing holes to evenly break down the entire formation. It consists of a modified Snapset II packer combined with an AS-III packer. The distance covered is determined by the separation between the two sets of packers and can be adjusted to any distance up to eighteen inches.

The bottom of the Stradasnap packer is plugged with an equalizing valve (or similar device). A point-control valve or acid valve can be installed on the Stradasnap packer to control hydrostatic pressure in the perforations and contain acid when moving the packer to another perforation.

  • Straight pull release
  • Adjustable spacing with pup joint
