Conventional Vac Tanks

Our conventional 80-barrel vac tanks use a conventional high-traction vehicle engine as their power source. The mechanical energy supplied through the driveshaft or transfer shaft drives a vacuum pump, which allows fluids to be sucked in and out as needed, without the fluids passing through the pump.

This makes them the most optimal and versatile equipment for transporting fluids in Colombia's challenging geography, thus mitigating risks. Their short length facilitates entry and operation in various locations. This design also meets the requirements of the Ministry of Transportation without exceeding the legally permitted cargo weight for this type of vehicle.

Technical characteristics:

  • Capacity of 80 Barrels.
  • Double-truck truck.
  • Speed and Satellite Device.
  • Vacuum Tank.
  • Auxiliary Tank Trap.
  • Auxiliary Vacuum Pump Trap.
  • 4-way valve.
  • Relief valves for pressure and vacuum.

Applications and uses:

  • Transportation of high-risk fluids for the environment (clean crude oil, contaminated crude oil, oil-based sludge, sludge, oily water).
  • Contingency to control spills , contamination, line ruptures, and other issues that put the environment and production at risk.
  • Draining and cleaning of waste collection bins and traps from production and disposal operations at treatment sites.
  • Cleaning of fluid storage vessels , Skimmer, Gun barrel.
  • Cleaning of counterwells due to critical events. Skimming of the water injection tank.
